Jess Weaver Trail (No Name)

Recreación sostenible

Físicamente moderado

Físicamente agotador

Description: Like many of the trails within the Glenwood Canyon, the Jess Weaver trail was heavily damaged by the Grizzly Creek wildfire in 2020 and the subsequent flooding during the summer of 2021. For the first time since 2021, RFOV volunteers will return to the Jess Weaver Trail for a Community Project in partnership with the USFS, National Forest Foundation and Contour Logic. This project will be highly strenuous--but equally rewarding--and will allow volunteers to provide updates the high ridge connector trail between the No Name creek and Grizzly creek basins. Additional (less strenuous) work will be available along the extent of the Jess Weaver Trail. Join us for a day in this beautiful canyon!

Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.

Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.

Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between 1 mile and 3.6 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over steep, rocky, and uneven single track trail.
