In 2025, in partnership with Red Hill Council and the BLM, RFOV volunteers completed the installation of critical ditch features to improve drainage and erosion control on the sage meadow portion of the Blue Ribbon Trail on Red Hill. After the success of last year's projects, we will return to the Red Hill sage meadow in 2026 to continue these trail improvement efforts. Come join us for this Community Project evening series on Carbondale's beloved backyard trail system!
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between .25 and 1.5 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
