A night to remember for RFOV’s stewardship community
On June 4th, RFOV hosted its sold-out 30th anniversary celebration & benefit, A Toast to Trails, at Spring Creeks Ranch in Carbondale, CO. This celebration represented a major step forward for the organization, as the first major fundraising event RFOV has hosted in its 30-year history. We are proud to have presented a high-quality event that remained true to RFOV values while also raising the bar on how we ask donors to support our core programs.
Toast to Trails was a two-fold success—it brought nearly 150 of RFOV’s community partners, donors and volunteers together to honor the legacy of our mission, and it raised more than $50,000 that will directly fund critical trail work, restoration and youth engagement projects in the year ahead.
We are deeply grateful to the many local businesses, sponsors and host committee members who provided cash and/or in-kind support for this event. Because of their generosity, RFOV was able to cover all production costs in advance of the event, and was able to provide complimentary tickets for more than 20 honored guests, including all three of our founders, two Youth in Nature alumni, USFS staff and regional land managers from Aspen to Rifle.
