aug 10th, 2020:

The Grizzly Creek Fire roars to life, burning through the world famous Glenwood Canyon, eventually consuming more than 32,000 acres over the course of 5 months.

Aug 20th, 2020:

RFOV, in collaboration with local non-profit, government, and business partners, launches the Glenwood Canyon Restoration Alliance (GCRA) to plan, coordinate, and implement post-fire restoration efforts.

2021:

As leader of the GCRA, we will implement a three-pronged approach in the first year after the fire:

(1) Community Building

(2) Community Education

(3) Community-led Restoration

To learn about upcoming events which RFOV is sponsoring on behalf of the Glenwood Canyon Restoration Alliance, please see our calendar: www.rfov.org/calendar
