Description: Beavers are important engineers of watershed health in Colorado. Once decimated, their population is now rebounding and they need your help! In 2026, RFOV will partner with the USFS and Wilderness Workshop to install Beaver Dam Analogues in Four Mile Park south of Glenwood Springs. Through BDA installation in this wetland ecosystem, we will improve the vitality of the riparian area and increase the habitat potential for beavers and important aquatic species.
In collaboration with Defiende Nuestra Tierra, RFOV is excited to announce that this project will be open to both english and spanish speakers, with guaranteed translation and interpretation services provided!
