The Trail Ambassador Training will get volunteers ready to be friendly, informed stewards who will spend time on some of our busiest local trails helping create a welcoming, responsible trail culture. This training is a great fit for people who enjoy connecting with others, sharing trail etiquette, and spending time outside. If interested in attending, please fill out the Trail Ambassador application first!
Nearest Town: Carbondale, CO
Worksite Location: This training will take place at the Third Street Center and at Red Hill and will take place at sites between .25 and 1.5 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: it takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Public transportation: RFTA routes CC, L; stop: Carbondale Pool.
