Join RFOV and friends as we celebrate 30 years of successful public lands stewardship and fundraise to secure the future of our programs. Come enjoy this memorable evening and mingle with all the inspiring individuals who have made our success possible, including RFOV’s founders, land manager partners and long-time volunteers.
FOOD & LIBATIONS:
Our guests can look forward to a vibrant spring menu from The Supply Co (of Field 2 Fork) that will include passed hors d'oeuvres and a seated dinner with buet service. From cocktail hour through dinner, we'll be featuring the best of regional beverages, including: Open Range Wines, Sauvage Spectrum, Marble Distilling and Mountain Heart Brewing.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Sweet Jessup and the Dirty Buckets—a local favorite—will provide lively music to set the mood for cocktail hour mingling and activities. Guests will have the opportunity to dive into stewardship history with our RFOV Story Walk and Project Season Poster Gallery. And of course, we'll be hosting an exciting silent auction + paddle raise that you won't want to miss!
Following dinner, conservation champion Sloan Shoemaker will lead an inspiring program that helps all of us envision the future of community-powered stewardship for this region and beyond. Speakers will include David Hamilton, Founder and long-time Executive Director of RFOV; Gary Tennenbaum, Director of Pitkin County Open Space & Trails; Kevin Warner, District Ranger for the Aspen-Sopris Ranger District of the White River National Forest; and Baruhk Guerrero and Elsa Tuller, Youth in Nature alumni.
ATTIRE:
A Toast to Trails is a milestone celebration for RFOV and we hope you'll join us in the spirit of Mountain Cocktail attire. You can expect to see our guests dressed in bolo ties, blazers, cocktail dresses, chic jumpsuits and grass-appropriate heels. Be comfortable, but go for it, too. It is a party, after all!
WEATHER & SETTING:
Spring Creeks Ranch is a gorgeous indoor/outdoor venue with stunning views of Mount Sopris and the surrounding landscape. We'll be serving dinner in the four-season event barn, but much of our mingling and merrymaking will happen outside on the patio and lawn. Please come prepared for the variable weather of spring in the mountains. Light layers are encouraged.
