Description: RFOV is excited to partner with Desert Mountain Medicine and Garfield County Outdoors to offer this Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Training. This training is a great introduction to wilderness medicine and basic life support skills. It will focus on prevention, assessment, and treatment of environmental illnesses, recognizing and stabilizing life threats caused by trauma, and calling for a rescue in the vent of a wilderness emergency. Proceeds from this training will go to providing WFA training to high school students across Garfield County School District.
