In 2024, the US Forest Service installed a bridge at the Hell-Roaring Creek crossing on the Avalanche Creek Trail! With the bridge installed, numerous reclamation and trail-maintenance projects along this beautiful trail have opened-up and we need your help! Come join RFOV for a weekend of car camping, delicious dinners and breakfasts provided by RFOV, and impactful trail work alongside RFOV's professional Trail Crew! Space is limited and a $75 deposit (refunded upon completion) is required for all participants!
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Deposit: $75, due at registration (below). Your deposit will be refunded upon completion of the project, or with a cancellation before August 15.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org two weeks in advance (August 15th) so we can plan accordingly and notify someone on the waitlist.
Worksite location: This project will take place at worksites between 1 and 4 miles away from the camping site and will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
This event requires a deposit of $75. please note that a deposit is not required if this project is full and you are placed on the waitlist.
