There's a reason that the Four Pass Loop is one of Colorado's most visited backpacking routes. We'll access the backside of the Four Pass Loop through the Lead King Basin and spend four days caring for a segment of this well-loved trail system along with our professional trail crew. RFOV will provide breakfasts and dinners, and if there are any personal backpacking gear items you don't have, we can work with you to find the gear needed. Space is limited.
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Deposit: $75, due at registration (below). Your deposit will be refunded upon completion of the project, or with a cancellation before July 18. If providing the deposit presents a financial strain for you, please reach out to jdouglas@rfov.org to discuss options.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org two weeks in advance (July 18) so we can plan accordingly and notify someone on the waitlist.
Worksite Location: Up to 3 miles from trailhead over steep, rugged terrain with backpacking gear.
