In 2025, in partnership with Red Hill Council and the BLM, RFOV volunteers completed the installation of critical ditch features to improve drainage and erosion control on the sage meadow portion of the Blue Ribbon Trail on Red Hill. After the success of last year's projects, we will return to the Red Hill sage meadow in 2026 to continue these trail improvement efforts. Come join us for this Community Project evening series on Carbondale's beloved backyard trail system!
Nearest Town: Carbondale, CO
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, login to your profile to remove yourself from a project or email info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between .25 and 1.5 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
En 2025, en colaboración con Red Hill Council y el BLM, voluntarios de RFOV instalaron estructuras clave de drenaje para mejorar el manejo del agua y el control de la erosión en la zona de pradera de salvia del sendero Blue Ribbon en Red Hill.
