For our second consecutive season, RFOV will celebrate National Trails Day through stewardship of the incredible Trails at Coal Basin Ranch! In partnership with Coal Basin Ranch and RFMBA, RFOV volunteers will complete trail improvements on the CBR pump track, Bear Bait Trail, Dutch Creek Trail, Grin and Bear it Trail and the Ute Point hiking connector Trail!
Little Explorers: Free, structured youth activities for students 4-8 while parents and guardians volunteer is offered at this project.
For students 4-8; free; on-site; for all interested parents and guardians who would like to attend as volunteers
Offered for the first half of the project day - 9am-12:30 pm
Activities will include structured nature play and an introduction to stewardship
Nearest Town: Redstone, CO
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between 100 feet and 2 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over potentially steep terrain.
