It's not all sweat and toil! No matter your age or talent, you can do something really special! RFOV has a number of additional behind-the-scenes teams that help make our organization tick.

RFOV Committees

Contact: Charlie Eckart (cfe@rof.net) or Ryan Vugteveen (ryan@bluegreenaspen.com)

Marketing and Publications Committee: Enjoy creative writing or public speaking? This committee develops marketing pieces -- written, oral, and visual -- for the organization. The group coordinates the newsletter and sets up promotional talks with local organizations. Contact: Lindsy Fortier at lfortier@upandupdesign.com

Town to Town Tour: This cross-country ski/snowshoe from Aspen to Basalt along the Rio Grande Trail is RFOV’s signature event in the winter. We need lots of people to volunteer with putting up signs and set up crews the day before, registration, crossing guards, help with the Party at the end, and tear down crews the day of … many opportunities to help. Contact: Suzanne Wolff, 927-9480 or suzannewolff@comcast.net

Crew Leader Development: Crew leaders are needed to lead crews of five to eight volunteers to complete a portion of a project, ensure volunteers enjoy a quality experience, and ensure the work is done to the highest construction and safety standards.
