  Hanging Lake Trail, Phase II

     Glenwood Springs •  Saturday & Sunday, September 24 & 25
     8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     With about 80,000 visitors per year, the Hanging Lake Trail is one of the most heavily visited trails in the
     state of Colorado. For Phase 2 of this project, volunteers will reconstruct rock walls and stone steps.

- OCTOBER -


  Lost Man Trail

     Independence Pass/Aspen  •  Saturday, October 1
     8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     Volunteers will rebuild some footbridges and conduct overdue trail maintenance on this favorite locals' trail.
     PARTNERS: U.S. Forest Service

 

  Tamarisk & Russian Olive Removal

     Rifle  •  Saturday, October 15
     8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     RFOV and our project partners move back down the Colorado River Valley to continue eradicating the
     invasive tamarisk and Russian olive on several riverfront parcels in and around the Rifle rest area.

Colorado River Water Conservation District; Garfield County, Colorado Department of Transportation, Trout Unlimited, Lower Valley Trails
